Question 1

Why Should I Choose Aevua Over Big Chains?

Accepted Answer

Choosing a provider starts with a conversation about your goals, health history, and the options that may fit. At Aevua in Livingston, your consultation can cover how a treatment works, who performs it, likely visit schedule, expected results, risks, aftercare, and current pricing. You can compare options and decide without pressure. Book a free consultation or email contact@aevua.com.

Question 2

What makes the Aevua client experience unique?

Accepted Answer

Aevua pairs a calm, spa-like setting with individualized consultations and treatment planning. Before recommending a service, the team discusses your goals, relevant health history, expected visits, aftercare, and cost. You can ask questions, review alternatives, and take time to decide. Lounge access and other amenities depend on the current membership and visit details; contact us if you would like to confirm what is available.

Question 3

Why should I choose laser hair removal over shaving?

Accepted Answer

Shaving cuts hair at the surface and needs frequent upkeep; it can also irritate some skin or contribute to ingrown hairs. Laser hair reduction uses selected light energy to target pigment in hair follicles, so growth may become finer or less noticeable over a series of treatments. Results vary, and maintenance may be needed. A consultation helps determine whether the treatment suits your skin, hair, and goals.

Question 4

How does professional laser compare to at-home IPL devices?

Accepted Answer

Professional laser and at-home IPL devices differ in energy, settings, and who operates them. At Aevua, a provider can assess the area, hair and skin characteristics, medical history, and device guidance before choosing settings. Neither method is right for everyone, and results vary; a series and occasional maintenance may be needed. Ask about risks, expected sessions, and aftercare at a consultation.

Question 5

How does Aevua's technology stand out from other spas?

Accepted Answer

Aevua uses professional laser equipment selected for its treatment services. The provider evaluates your skin and hair characteristics, treatment area, and health history before recommending settings and a plan. Technology alone cannot guarantee a result or suitability for every person. Ask your specialist which device will be used for your service, what outcomes are realistic, and what preparation and follow-up are recommended.

Question 6

What makes the Aevua experience different from a medical clinic?

Accepted Answer

Aevua aims to combine a comfortable, welcoming environment with a consultation-led approach to aesthetic care. Your provider reviews your goals and relevant health history, explains options and possible side effects, and discusses aftercare before treatment. The right plan depends on the service and your individual needs. You can ask questions and decide whether to proceed after reviewing the information.

Question 7

Why is laser hair removal so expensive?

Accepted Answer

Treatment pricing can reflect the service, treatment area, number of visits, products used, and current offers. A multi-session plan may be appropriate for some services, but the best option depends on your consultation. Check the live booking and package listings for current prices and terms, or contact Aevua for help understanding what is included before you purchase.

Question 8

Is the Founding 150 offer still available?

Accepted Answer

The Founding 150 was a limited launch offer and is closed to new enrollment. Existing founding members should refer to the terms they accepted for their current benefits and eligibility. If you are new to Aevua, review the current membership options and service pricing on the website or ask the team during a consultation; offers and eligibility can change.

Question 9

What medical staff and safety standards does Aevua follow?

Accepted Answer

Aevua’s public Medical Team page identifies Dr. Jonathan Martinez, MD, as Medical Director. The professional who performs a service and the oversight involved depend on the treatment and each clinician’s scope of practice. Before you proceed, ask who will provide your treatment, their relevant credentials, and how clinical oversight applies to that specific service.

Accepted Answer

Aevua's appointment policy requires at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. A $40 deposit is required for every appointment and is applied toward the service when completed. Late cancellations may incur the published fee; a no-show incurs a 50% fee and forfeiture of the $40 deposit. Review the full appointment policy and contact us at 973-313-5601 or contact@aevua.com if plans change.

Question 21

How Long Does Each Session Take?

Question 22

Do treatments require downtime or recovery?

Accepted Answer

Downtime depends on the treatment, settings, and individual response. Your provider will explain the likely recovery and aftercare before treatment.

Question 23

What treatments does Aevua offer?

Aevua's current service menu includes laser hair reduction, laser skin care, clinical skincare, IV therapy, chemical peels, microneedling, booster injections, body contouring, neuromodulator injections, and weight-management consultations. Question 24

How do neuromodulator injections (Botox/Dysport) work?

Accepted Answer

Aevua offers neuromodulator injections, including BOTOX Cosmetic and Dysport. These prescription treatments temporarily relax targeted muscles to reduce the appearance of selected expression lines. The onset and duration vary by product, dose, treatment area, and individual. Your clinician reviews suitability, risks, alternatives, and the proposed plan before treatment. Product units are not interchangeable. [Explore neuromodulator injections](https://www.aevua.com/services/neuromodulator-injections).

Question 25

How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?

Accepted Answer

Laser hair removal targets the hair follicle with medical-grade light energy to disable future growth. Most clients need a series of sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart to target hair in different growth cycles, with visible reduction after just a few sessions.

Question 26

What does a corrective chemical peel treat?

Accepted Answer

Corrective chemical peels use customized acid formulations to exfoliate the skin's surface, improving tone, texture, and clarity while addressing concerns like sun damage, acne, and fine lines. Peel strength and downtime vary based on your skin's needs, and your specialist will recommend the right depth for your goals.

Question 27

What is microneedling and what does it treat?

Accepted Answer

Microneedling creates controlled, micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate your body's natural collagen and elastin production, improving texture, tone, acne scarring, and fine lines over a series of treatments.

Question 28

What are the benefits of IV therapy?

Accepted Answer

IV therapy involves administering fluids or selected nutrients through an IV. Whether it is suitable depends on your health history, needs, and the specific formula; effects and evidence vary, and it is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. A clinician should review possible risks and alternatives before you proceed.

Question 29

What are booster injections used for?

Accepted Answer

Booster injections refer to specific injectable products that may be offered for defined purposes. The ingredients, intended use, evidence, risks, and eligibility depend on the product. Ask the clinician what is in the formulation, what benefit is reasonably expected, and what alternatives or side effects to consider before treatment.

Question 30

What can body contouring treatments help with?

Accepted Answer

Body contouring refers to treatments intended to change the appearance of selected areas; the method, number of visits, expected result, and recovery vary by service and person.
